I think you can go to Forever 21 and H&M for basics though....but you gotta spice it up with original stuff. That's where you spend your money.

I have a friend who is really into fashion designing but she doesn't really like the school. What advice would you give her?
This is a hard one because if she's in a good fashion school like FIT then she should stick it out because FIT is among the best for fashion. If she's NOT in a good fashion school she might want to see if she could transfer to one. But the thing is, no matter what school she goes to there's always all those classes you hate but you gotta take before you get to the fun classes. And that's just the way it is 'cause you gotta know the basics first.

I want to start designing clothes and I got a lot of ideas to run with. Any advice on how to go about it without doing too much at one time (I'm in college and I work too).
Maybe start with designing printed t-shirts? Do the graphics and then take the artwork to a local printer who will print real small amounts and start that way…..make sure the printer also has blank t-s you can choose from.

Well, because of the events you asked about I'm actually in the process of supporting an anti-bullying cause. It's so important to speak out about it because it's rampant in our schools and on the internet especially. Young girls are SO affected by it! Well, guys should not grow their beards out....it's nasty. Keep it clipped nicely if you have to have a beard. For women I think you gotta be careful bout getting too many random tattoos. Plan them. Tattoos should add to your beauty and show what's meaningful to you and the things you like.
